After five successful years, Born and Raised Las Vegas has branched out and opened up Born and Raised Henderson off of Eastern Ave. and St. Rose Pkwy.
When you first walk into the tavern, it doesn’t have the feeling of a classic Las Vegas bar. Of course, there is bar seating, but the rest of the area is set up similarly to a living room. There is a wall of 33 television screens where you can watch your favorite sports team. You are able to rent out a private room for meetings, but when it is not in use, it is opened up for the general pubic. Their menu offers 15 different sliders and award winning chicken wings. Sounds pretty great, right?
Now, you might be asking, “what makes this tavern different from all of the other ones?” Let’s be honest, if you’re living in the Las Vegas Valley, there are plenty to choose from.
Born and Raised Henderson is not a typical tavern. It was created with the idea that it would be a community space for locals to get together, hang out, run into old friends, and meet new ones. The owners, partners, and chef are all natives. There is a wall with photos of them in their childhood including some from when they went to Basic High School (as a Basic High School alumnae myself, this was very entertaining to me). They love the city they were raised in and have created a tavern that focuses on bringing the community together.
Stop in, order some fantastic food, and enjoy this fun community space.
